New Milton - Between the Forest and The Sea
New Milton is a vibrant and lively town located between the rolling hills of The New Forest and the Sea west of the Solent. Bournemouth is some 10 miles west of New Milton and Southampton some 20 miles to the east.
The Parish of New Milton encompasses not only New Milton, but also Barton
on Sea to the South, Bashley to the North and Ashley to the East of the Town
Centre. The town has some 25,500 residents.
The main shopping areas of Station Road and Old Milton Road include a wide range of independent and high street names and the town is home to Bradbeers, one of the country's oldest family owned Department Stores.
The area is popular with walkers, adjacent as it is to the 145 square miles of The New Forest and with the Cliffs and Beachside walks at Barton on Sea.
